See the part about the driver issues with 98 and usb devices. Really? My post had information to back up why I said move to a more modern OS. It's easy to write "you shouldn't use it", but most of the time people need to use them and giving advice in the form of " you should be using a more modern OS" has no value. I would imagine that this machine is there for a reason.

If you are using newer devices, they may not (almost certainly don't) have drivers meant for 98. You should be using a more modern OS at this point and you won't deal with these issues.Īlso, Win98 was a lot more driver specific for USB devices, including mice and keyboards.
